---++ Apple Crisp ---+++ INGREDIENTS * 2.5 lbs Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced about 1/4" thick * 3 Tbsp sugar * 3/4 tsp cinnamon * 1/4 tsp salt * 1/2 c packed brown sugar * 1/2 c rolled oats * 1/3 c AP flour * 1/2 stick cold butter, cut into small pieces, plus more to grease the pan ---+++ PREPARATION 1. Heat oven to 375. 1. Grease 8" square pan with butter. 1. Combine apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and 1/8 teaspoon of the salt in a large bowl and toss to coat. 1. Place in the prepared baking pan. Set aside. 1. In the same bowl, combine brown sugar, oats, flour, and remaining 1/8 teaspoon salt until evenly mixed. 1. With your fingers, blend in the butter until small clumps form, about 2 minutes. 1. Sprinkle the topping on the apples. 1.
