---++ Bacon Jam ---+++ INGREDIENTS * 1.5 lbs bacon, cut into 1" pieces * 2 onions, thinly sliced * 3 cloves garlic * 1/4 c cider vinegar * 1/2 c brown sugar * 1/4 c maple syrup * 1/4 c boiled cider or apple juice * 3/4 c strong tea * 2 bay leaves * salt and pepper to taste ---+++ PREPARATION 1. Cook bacon in mondo skillet until crisp. 1. Remove with slotted spoon to crock pot. 1. Add other ingredients. 1. Cover, cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours. 1. Remove bay leaves and process in blender. 1.
