Beer-Cheese Kielbasa and Tortellini
INGREDIENTS
- 1 9-oz package tortellini
- 3/4 c water
- 1/3 c flour
- 1 c beer
- 1/3 c sliced scallions
- 3 Tbsp chili sauce
- 2 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 14-oz kielbasa, cut into half-moons
- 1.5 c shredded cheddar
PREPARATION
- Fill mondo skillet halfway with water. Bring to boil.
- Cook tortellini for minimum time listed on package, drain in collander
- In measuring cup, whisk 3/4 c water with flour.
- Pour into skillet, stir in beer, scallions, chili sauce, mustard and salt.
- Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer till thickened (about 1 minute)
- Fold in tortellini and kielbasa. Cover, cook on medium about 5 minutes.
- Fold in cheese, 1/2 c at a time, until melted. Remove from heat.
