---++ Bourbon Brown Sugar Pork Loin ---+++ INGREDIENTS * 1 chunk pork loin * 2 tsp kosher salt * 1 tsp pepper * 2 Tbsp EVOO * 1/2 c water * 1 c brown sugar * 1 tsp garlic * 1/2 c water * 1/2 c bourbon * 2-3 Tbsp cornstarch * 1/4 c soy sauce ---+++ PREPARATION 1. Combine salt and pepper and rub into all sides of pork 1. Heat EVOO in skillet and sear pork on all sides on medium-high, 1-2 minutes per. 1. Place is slow cooker with 1/2 c water. 1. Cook 5-6 hours on low. 1. Before the last hour, make glaze. 1. Whisk brown sugar, 1/2 c water, bourbon, cornstarch and soy sauce in saucepan. 1. Heat until bubbly; reduce to medium-low and cook until slightly thickened. 1. Baste pork with glaze 3 times during last hour. 1. Line 13" x 9" pan with foil. 1. Heat broiler. 1.
