---++ Braised Pork Chops & Cabbage ---+++ INGREDIENTS * 1/2 green cabbage, cut in half and sliced * 1 onion, chopped * 1 tsp jar garlic * 4 thick pork chops * 3/4 c chicken broth * salt and pepper * 3 Tbsp tomato paste * 1 tsp dried sage * 1 pinch nutmeg * oil for frying ---+++ PREPARATION 1. Preheat oven to 400. 1. Heat a little oil in mondo skillet and brown pork chops on both sides. Set aside. 1. If necessary, add oil and cook onion for 3 minutes, add garlic and cook 10 seconds. Set aside. 1. If necessary, add oil and cook the cabbage for 2 minutes. 1. In one of the glass casseroles, layer 1/3 of the cabbage, 1/2 the onion and two pork chops. Repeat then top with cabbage. 1.
