---++ Buttery Spinach-Havarti Bake ---+++ INGREDIENTS * 2/3 c panko * 2 Tbsp butter, melted * 1/2 c butter * 1/2 c AP flour * 2 12-oz cans evaporated milk * 1 tsp salt * 1/4 tsp white pepper * 1/8 tsp cayenne * 6 10-oz packages spinach, thawed and squeezed * 8 oz Havarti, sliced ---+++ PREPARATION 1 Heat oven to 400. 1 Lightly spray 13" x 9" pan with cooking spray 1 *Topping:* Combine panko and 2Tbsp butter. 1 Heat the 1/2 c butter over medium until melted; add flour. 1 Cook and stir for 2 minutes. 1 Gradually stir in evaporated milk. 1 Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. 1 Stir in salt and peppers. 1 Stir in spinach. 1 Spread half of mixture in prepared pan. 1 Top with half the cheese. 1 Repeat layers. 1 Sprinkle with topping. 1 Bake uncovered for 30-45 minutes or until cheese is melted and topping is golden. 1 Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
