---++ Caprese Pizza Bake ---+++ INGREDIENTS * 3 tsp EVOO * 1 lb bulk Italian sausage * 4 c pizza sauce * 1 Tbsp dried basil * 1/4 c fresh basil * 1 can grands jr (10 biscuit) * 20 ciliegine mozzarella * 1/4 c shredded Parmesan ---+++ PREPARATION 1 Heat oven to 425 1 In mondo skillet, heat 1 tsp EVOO over medium. 1 Add sausage, cook 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until browned. 1 Stir in pizza sauce and 1 Tbsp dried basil, and 1/4 c water. 1 Cook over medium-low 2-3 minutes or until heated. 1 Separate dough into 10 biscuits. 1 Separate each biscuit into two layers. 1 Place one cheese ball in the center of each layer. Carefully stretch dough around cheese and pinch edges to seal. 1 Pour meat sauce into ungreased 13" x 9" pan. 1 Place biscuits, seam-side down, on top of sauce. 1 Brush tops of biscuits with remaining oil. 1 Bake 15-20 minutes until biscuits are golden and sauce is bubbly. 1 Sprinkle with shredded cheese and fresh basil.
