---++ Cheeseburger Lasagna ---+++ INGREDIENTS * 1.5 lbs ground beef * 3 Tbsp instant minced onion * 1 can (15-oz) tomato sauce * 1.5 c water * 1/2 c ketchup * 1 Tbsp yellow mustard * 1 egg * 1 15-oz container ricotta * 2 c shredded cheddar-American blend * 12 oven-ready lasagna noodles * 1 c shredded cheddar * 1 c shredded lettuce * 1 tomato, sliced (optional) * dill pickle slices (optional) ---+++ PREPARATION 1. Spray 13" x 9" pan with cooking spray 1. In mondo skillet, cook beef and onion till beef is brown; drain. 1. Stir in tomato sauce, water, ketchup, and mustard. 1. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 1. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, beat egg with fork or whisk. 1. Stir in the ricotta and cheese blend. 1. Put 1 c meat mixture in bottom of prepared pan. 1. Top with 4 noodles; spread with 1/2 the cheese mixture, then 1.5 c beef mixture. 1. Repeat layers. 1. Top with 4 noodles, remaining beef mixture and cheddar cheese. 1. Cover with foil. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. 1. Heat oven to 375. 1. Bake lasagna, covered, 45 minutes; uncover and bake 25-35 minutes longer or until bubbly. 1. Remove from oven; cover with foil and let stand 5-10 minutes before cutting. 1. Just before serving, top with lettuce, tomato, and pickle, if using.
