Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 2.25 cups (300g) All-purpose Flour
- 1 tsp (5g) baking soda
- 1 tsp (6g) salt
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 0.75 cup (150g) granulated sugar
- 0.75 cup (165g) packed brown sugar -or- 30g molasses and 135g granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 340g of chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt
- In a larger bowl, beat butter, sugars, and vanilla extract until creamy
- Add each egg, beating well after each one
- Gradually stir in flour mixture
- Add chips and whatever else
- Drop on ungreased sheet pan, a tablespoon or so at a time
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until GBD
- Cool for a couple of minutes, and then transfer to a rack to completely cool
