Cream of Bacon Mushroom Soup
INGREDIENTS
- 1 qt heavy cream
- 1 qt chicken broth
- 1 c shredded Parmesan cheese
- 3 8oz pkgs sliced mushrooms
- 1 c cooked bacon (crumbles or diced)
- 1 Tbsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 c red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, sliced
PREPARATION
- Heat a small skillet and add butter. Cook garlic for about a minute.
- Add all ingredients to crock pot.
- Cook on Low for 5 hours.
