Creamy Ham & Wild Rice Soup
INGREDIENTS
- 2 c cooked diced ham
- 1 c carrot shreds
- 3/4 c wild rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 3 c water
- 1 c half-and-half
- 1/4 c sliced almonds
- 2 Tbsp sherry
- 1/4 c chopped fresh parsley
PREPARATION
- Spray round crock with cooking spray
- Mix all ingredients except half-and-half, almonds, sherry, and parsley
- Cover, cook on LOW 7-8 hours
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Cover, cook on HIGH 15 minutes.
