Dark Beer Braised Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 large pork chops
  • 2 Tbsp steak seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 c dark beer or stout
  • 1 c BBQ sauce
  • 1 large onion, chopped

PREPARATION

  1. Sprinkle steak seasoning on each side of pork chops.
  2. In mondo skillet, heat oil and butter over high and brown the chops on both sides.
  3. Remove chops and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and deglaze the pan with the beer for one minute while stirring.
  5. Add BBQ sauce and stir well.
  6. Cook for one minute.
  7. Add pork chops and onion, mix.
  8. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about an hour.
