This is the place where we can list and prioritize future family purchases. -- Main.JonathanGuthrie - 12 Oct 2005 The list: | *What to Buy* | *Approximate Cost* | *Status* | | Sewing Machine | $100 | 1Q 2006 | | New Car | $20,000 | 3Q 2006 | | Refrigerator (with icemaker) | $1000 | After car | | Deep Freeze (upright) | $500 | After refrigerator | | A House | $100,000 | On Hold (pending litigation) | | An oven | $500 | Waiting for House | | New Shed | $500 | Waiting for House | | Whole House Generator | $10,000 | Waiting for House | | Bookshelves | variable | Unscheduled | | Mattresses | $200 (ea) | Unscheduled | | Entertainment Center (upstairs?) | $500 | Unscheduled | | New Workstation | $800 | Unscheduled | | New Server | $2000 | Unscheduled | | Washing Machine | $400 | Purchased | | TV Stand for Downstairs | $100 | Purchased | I wanted to add the  "cool" icon to the table, but it seems to not work in tables, so I'm putting it here. ;-) The table is listed in order of things that are planned to be purchased, with when, then things that are hoped to be purchased and then things that have been purchased. Feel Free to add items in the places in the table where you think they go, but please explain your logic in discussion below. ---++ Discussion Currently, my plan is to buy the sewing machine next (after I pay off the hospitals and after the Christmas purchases are dealt with) and then save money for another vehicle and to put off everything else to be after that. Of course, if the owners of the house get their excrement together and decide to sell it to us, we could move on that in a minute, and it would screw these plans up in the short term and (probably) make them easier to deal with in the long term. -- Main.JonathanGuthrie - 13 Oct 2005
