---++ French Onion Meatloaf ---+++ Ingredients * 2 lbs ground beef * 1/4 cup grated onion * 2 c stuffing mix (about 4oz) * 1 can (10.5 oz) French onion soup * 2 eggs, lightly beaten * 1 1/2 tsp dried thyme * 1/2 tsp pepper * 1 c. shredded Swiss or Gruyere cheese * 1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese * 1 can crispy fried onions ---+++ Preparation 1 Preheat oven to 350 2 In a large bowl, mix together beef, grated onion, stuffing mix, soup, eggs, thyme and pepper until well combined. Form into a loaf and transfer into the loaf pan. 3 Bake for 45 minutes 4 Remove meatloaf and top with shredded cheese, Parmesan and crispy onions. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes more. 5 Remove to cooling rack, lift meatloaf from pan, transfer to a patter and rest 10 minutes before serving. -- Main.JMagGuthrie - 23 Nov 2012
