Kielbasa and Kraut
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb kielbasa
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 c sauerkraut, drained
- 3/4 c apple juice
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
PREPARATION
- Cut kielbasa into serving portions
- Heat oil in skillet on medium. Add carrots and onions, cook until onions begin to brown, stirring frequently.
- Add kraut, juice, mustard and sugar, mix well.
- Top with kielbasa and bring to boil.
- Cover, reduce heat.
- Simmer for ten minutes.
