Maple Sausage Pie
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 lbs oz bulk pork sausage or maple sausage
- 1 bunch scallions, sliced, whites and greens separated
- 2 c baking mix
- 2 c milk
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 c shredded mozzarella
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
PREPARATION
- Heat oven to 400
- Spray 13" x 9" pan with cooking spray
- In mondo skillet, cook sausage and scallion whites until sausage is no longer pink.
- Drain; spread in pan.
- In medium bowl, stir baking mix, milk, eggs and salt until blended.
- Stir in cheese.
- Pour into pie plate.
- Bake 35-40 minutes, until knife in center comes out clean..
- Let stand 5 minutes. Top with scallion greens and drizzle with maple syrup.
