---++ North Woods Wild Rice Soup ---+++ INGREDIENTS * 2 tsp vegetable oil * 1 onion, chopped * 2 ribs celery, diced * 2 medium carrots, diced * 6 oz smoked turkey, diced * 1/2 c uncooked wild rice * 1 tsp tarragon * 1/4 tsp pepper * 3.5 c chicken broth * 1 can evaporated milk * 1/3 c flour * 1 c frozen peas, thawed * 2 Tbsp sherry ---+++ PREPARATION 1. In medium skillet, heat oil, and cook onion 4 minutes 1. Place onion, celery, carrots, turckey, rice, tarragon, and pepper in slow cooker. 1. Pour broth over. 1. Cover and cook on LOW 6-7 hours. 1.
