Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup (240 grams) crunchy peanut butter
- 1 cup (200 grams) white sugar
- 1 cup (200 grams) brown sugar (or 165g white sugar and 35g molasses)
- 2 eggs
- 2+1/2 cups (312 grams) AP flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1+1/2 tsp baking soda
Preparation
- Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars together in a bowl.
- Beat eggs into wet mixture
- In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Stir dry mixture into wet mixture
- Refrigerate for an hour
- Roll dough into 1 inch balls
- Place dough balls onto baking sheet
- Flatten each ball with a fork, making crisscross pattern
- Bake in 375 degree oven until GBD, about 10 minutes
