---++ Pecan Pie (cast iron skillet) ---+++ INGREDIENTS * 1 pie crust (refrigerated or homemade) * 1 Tbsp powdered sugar * 4 large eggs * 1-1/2 c firmly packed brown sugar * 1/2 c butter, melted and cooled to room temperature * 1/2 c sugar * 1/2 c chopped pecans * 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour * 2 Tbsp milk * 1-12 tsp bourbon * 1-1/2 c pecan halves ---+++ PREPARATION 1 Preheat oven to 350. 1 Fit pie crust in large (10") skillet. 1 Dust pie crust with powdered sugar. 1 Whisk eggs in a large bowl until foamy; Whisk in brown sugar and other ingredients except pecan halves. 1 Pour mixture into pie crust; top with pecan halves. 1 Bake at 350 for 30 minutes; reduce heat to 325 and bake additional 30 minutes. 1 Turn oven off and let pie stay in oven 3 hours.
