Pomegranate Hazelnut Holiday Salad
INGREDIENTS
Salad
- 2 bags mixed greens
- 12 sliced bacon, diced, cooked and drained
- 3/4 c chopped hazelnuts, toasted
- Arils from one pomogranate
Dressing
- 3 Tbsp warm bacon grease
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
- Toss salad ingredients in large bowl.
- Place dressing ingredients in blender bottle and shake well.
- Pour dressing over salad, toss and serve.
