Red Wine Braised Chicken Thighs
INGREDIENTS
- 1 onion, chopped
- 8 chicken thighs, skin removed
- 1 packet slow cooker red wine braised roast seasoning mix
- 1 c mini carrots, halved
- 8 oz button mushrooms, quartered
- 1 bag (14.4 oz) frozen pearl onions, thawed
- 1/2 c red wine
- 1/2 c water
- 1/2 c chopped parsley
PREPARATION
- Spray crock with cooking spray.
- Place chopped onion in crock.
- Season chicken with seasoning mix and place on onions.
- Add carrots, mushrooms and pearl onions. Pour wine and water over everything.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.
- Stir in parsley.
- Serve with rice.
