Ribs
INGREDIENTS
- 2 slabs pork ribs
- 1/4 c liquid (beer? broth? cider?)
- 2 onions, thickly sliced
- lots of barbecue sauce
- dry rub
PREPARATION
- Portion the slabs so they fit in the crockpot
- Season each piece with dry rub.
- Cover the bottom of the pot with barbecue sauce.
- Add liquid.
- Lay onions in crock.
- Place the portions of ribs in crock, brushing with barbecue sauce as you go.
- Cook on LOW 8-10 hours.
- Remove from slow cooker.
- Brush with barbecue sauce and broil 5 minutes or until sauce begins to carmelize.
