Ribs

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 slabs pork ribs
  • 1/4 c liquid (beer? broth? cider?)
  • 2 onions, thickly sliced
  • lots of barbecue sauce
  • dry rub

PREPARATION

  1. Portion the slabs so they fit in the crockpot
  2. Season each piece with dry rub.
  3. Cover the bottom of the pot with barbecue sauce.
  4. Add liquid.
  5. Lay onions in crock.
  6. Place the portions of ribs in crock, brushing with barbecue sauce as you go.
  7. Cook on LOW 8-10 hours.
  8. Remove from slow cooker.
  9. Brush with barbecue sauce and broil 5 minutes or until sauce begins to carmelize.
