Borscht
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 c beef broth
- 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes
- 6 c shredded red cabbage
- 4 large beets, peeled and cubed
- 1 c sliced carrot
- 1 c sliced onion
- 1 c diced turnip
- 1 c diced potato
- 1 Tbsp cider vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- sour cream
PREPARATION
- Brown ground beef in skillet, drain
- Combine everything but salt, pepper and sour cream in slow cooker.
- cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Serve with sour cream.
