Skillet Grilled Ham Steak with Pineapple
INGREDIENTS
- 1 large ham steak, portioned
- 2 c cubed fresh pineapple
- 2 Tbsp real maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp dark brown sugar
PREPARATION
- Heat skillet over medium-high
- Remove skillet from heat, spray with cooking spray.
- Add ham. Cook 6-8 minutes, turning once, till brown on both sides.
- Remove to plate.
- In medium bowl, whisk curry with maple syrup, toss with pineapple.
- In same skillet, melt butter over medium.
- Add pineapple; cook 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender.
- Add brown sugar; cook one minute until it melts.
- Serve over ham slices.
