---++ Spiced Apple & Sake Chicken
---+++ INGREDIENTS
   * 1/2 c applesauce
   * 1/2 tsp cinnamon
   * 1/4 c sake
   * 1 large cooking apple
   * a chicken
   * butter
   * salt and pepper to taste
---+++ PREPARATION
   1. Preheat oven to 425.
   1. put chicken in roaster, breast-side up.
   1. Slather with butter.
   1. Combine cinnamon, applesauce and sake and slather over buttered chicken.
   1. Halve the apple and place one half in the cavity. Slice the other half and place around the breast.
   1. Bake for one hour.

   1. Dust with salt and pepper.
