I want to wed a poet<br />Not in the usual (hetero)sexual sense of marriage<br />But in the spiritual, essential, passionate twining<br />of efforts.<br /><br />I want to write together, if not all ways, than many ways<br />And sideways and upside down.<br /><br />I want to be silly, serious, geeky, playful, dark, spiritual<br />And every other color in between.<br /><br />I think we all long for that perfect soul-for-us<br />whom the world sees as just another poet but whom<br />I know is the exception that throws up the dialog box.<br /><br />I don't want to possess you or own you<br />I want to attend you and have your attention<br /><br />Will you?
