Beer Barbecue Chicken Thighs

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tsp cooking oil
  • 8 chicken thighs
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 medium onions, cut in wedges
  • 1 c dark beer
  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce

PREPARATION

  1. Heat oil in mondo skillet.
  2. Salt and pepper chicken pieces.
  3. Brown chicken in batches so as not to crowd.
  4. Place chicken in slow cooker.
  5. Add onions.
  6. Combine beer and barbecue sauce; pour over chicken and onions.
  7. Cook on LOW 8 hours.
