Ingredients
1/2 to 3/4 bottle beer -- I use Shiner Black Lager |
1 onion cut in half then sliced into thin half-rings |
1 lb bratwurst, removed from its casing |
1/2 can sauerkraut |
1-2 Tbsp mustard |
5 cans sliced potatoes |
Combine beer, bratwurst and onion and cook till onion is cooked and bratwurst is no longer pink.
Add the sauerkraut and mustard and cook and stir till you can't visually tell the sauerkraut from the onion.
Drain all the cans of potatoes and add them all at once to the skillet. Add more beer if you need to to keep a little on the bottom.
Stir to combine then heat through, covered, for about 5-8 minutes on medium-high.
