Caramelized Onion and Bacon Dip
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Tbsp EVOO
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 3 red onions, sliced into thin strings
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 c grated Parmesan
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
- Heat the oil in a skillet.
- Cook bacon in oil until crisp, remove to paper towels.
- Cook the onions in the fat in the pan about 15 minutes, stirring frequently, until softened and slightly caramelized.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Combine ingredients; chill.
