Cheesy Honey Beer Bread

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 c AP flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 c honey (nuke for 15 seconds)
  • 1 bottle beer
  • 1 c sharp cheddar cheese shreds
  • 1/2 stick butter, melted

PREPARATION

  1. Heat oven to 375
  2. Grease 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pan
  3. In large bowl, whisk dry ingredients till mixed.
  4. Slowly add beer and honey.
  5. Stir in cheese.
  6. Pour half of butter in loaf pan and spread it around
  7. Add the batter to the loaf pan in an even layer.
  8. Brush the top of the batter with the remaining butter.
  9. Bake 40-50 minutes, until toothpick or knife comes out clean.
