Cheesy Tortellini & Sausage

INGREDIENTS

• 1 lb cooked Italian sausage
• 1 small onion, diced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 jar tomato-basil pasta sauce
• 1 can diced tomatoes
• 1/2 c chicken broth
• 20 oz refrigerated tortellini
• 1 c mozzarella
• herb & cheese blend

PREPARATION

1. In mondo skillet, cook sausage, onion, and garlic 5-7 minutes, until onion softens and sausage starts to brown.
2. Stir in sauce, tomatoes, broth and tortellini. Cover and simmer 8-10 minutes until tortellini is cooked.
3. Remove from heat and sprinkle with cheese, and herb & cheese blend
4. Serve when cheese is melted.
