Chicken with Walnuts and Pomegranate
INGREDIENTS
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 c coarsely ground walnuts
- 2 Tbsp pomegranate molasses
- 1.5 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
PREPARATION
- Mix cinnamon, pepper, and salt in small bowl. Rub on chicken
- Melt butter over medium in large skillet. Brown chicken about 3 minutes/side.
- Place browned thighs in slow cooker, add walnuts and toss well.
- Whisk remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.
- Cover, cook on low 6 hours.
