Chicken with Walnuts and Pomegranate

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 c coarsely ground walnuts
  • 2 Tbsp pomegranate molasses
  • 1.5 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce

PREPARATION

  1. Mix cinnamon, pepper, and salt in small bowl. Rub on chicken
  2. Melt butter over medium in large skillet. Brown chicken about 3 minutes/side.
  3. Place browned thighs in slow cooker, add walnuts and toss well.
  4. Whisk remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.
  5. Cover, cook on low 6 hours.
