Granola
INGREDIENTS
- 3½ c rolled oats
- 2 c sliced or chopped raw almonds
- 1 c raw sunflower seeds
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1½ tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp salt
- 6 Tbsp butter
- ½ c honey
- 2 tsp vanilla
PREPARATION
- Heat the oven to (it says) 250°. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
- In a large bowls, mix the oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, spices, and salt until well combined.
- In a small pot over low heat, combine butter and honey. When the butter is completely melted, stir in the vanila.
- Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ones and mix thoroughly.
- Using a rubber spoonula, spread the mixture onto the baking sheet so it's evenly distributed. Bake until golden brown, about 75 minutes.
- Let cool completely, then crumble and store in bags.
