Jules Verne Cider

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 gallon cider
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 2 tsp whole allspice
  • 1 Tbsp whole cloves
  • 4 sticks cinnamon
  • 2 dashes nutmeg
  • 1 whole orange

PREPARATION

  1. Pour cider into stock pot
  2. Stir in brown sugar.
  3. In a clean sock, put spices and tie shut with a string
  4. Cut orange in half and place cut side down in cider.
  5. Heat to simmer, cover, and simmer for an hour.
