Ingredients
1 lb bulk sausage |
2 onions, chopped |
3 packets jamon |
2 lbs lentils |
water |
salt to taste |
cheese, about 4 cups |
Cook onion with sausage until sausage is brown. Add 18-20 cups of water (4.5 of the 4c measure, about) and the jamon.
Rinse and pick over the lentils to make sure there are no stones. Add to the pot and bring to a boil. Cook 20 or so minutes until lentils are the consistency you want. Add salt to taste.
