Ramen Salad

Ingredients

Salad

1 oriental flavor ramen
1/2 c slivered almonds
1/4 c sesame seeds
1 lb coleslaw mix
2 lg carrots, grated

Dressing

  flavor packet from the ramen
1/4 c vegetable oil
2 Tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp sesame oil

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300.

Break up the ramen into shreds. and put them in an 8" square pan with the almonds. Mix them up and bake them at 300 for 10 minutes or until they're browned.

Toss together cabbage and carrots in a large bowl. Whisk together dressing ingredients in a small bowl.

Toss the noodles and vegetable mixtures with the dressing in the large bowl. Serve immediately for crispy or wait a bit for less crispy.
