Ramen Salad

oriental flavor ramen |
1/2 c |
slivered almonds |
1/4 c |
sesame seeds |

coleslaw mix |
2 lg |
carrots, grated |
Dressing
|
flavor packet from the ramen |
1/4 c |
vegetable oil |
2 Tbsp |
seasoned rice vinegar |
2 Tbsp |
soy sauce |
1 Tbsp |
sugar |
2 tsp |
sesame oil |
Preparation
Break up the ramen into shreds. Over medium heat, toast sesame seeds until light brown and fragrant. Pour into medium mixing bowl. Repeat with almonds, then repeat with ramen shreds.
Toss together cabbage and carrots in a large bowl. Whisk together dressing ingredients in a small bowl.
Toss the noodles and vegetable mixtures with the dressing in the large bowl. Serve immediately for crispy or wait a bit for less crispy.
