Red Beans & Rice
Ingredients

smoked sausage, sliced |

onion, chopped |
1 |
bell pepper, chopped |
1 clove |
garlic, chopped |
1 15 oz can |
kidney beans |
1 16 oz can |
chopped tomatoes |
1/2 tsp |
dried oregano |
1/2 tsp |
black pepper |
1 box |
white rice |
Cook sausage over low heat for 8-10 minutes in large frying pan. Add onion, green pepper and garlic and sauté until tender. Drain, if necessary. Add beans, tomatoes and seasonings and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes. Serve with white rice.
