Skillet Grilled Ham Steak with Pineapple

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large ham steaks, portioned
  • 4 c cubed fresh pineapple
  • 4 Tbsp real maple syrup
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp dark brown sugar

PREPARATION

  1. Heat skillet over medium-high
  2. Remove skillet from heat, spray with cooking spray.
  3. Add ham. Cook 6-8 minutes, turning once, till brown on both sides.
  4. Remove to plate.
  5. In medium bowl, whisk curry with maple syrup, toss with pineapple.
  6. In same skillet, melt butter over medium.
  7. Add pineapple; cook 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender.
  8. Add brown sugar; cook one minute until it melts.
  9. Serve over ham slices.
