Skillet Grilled Ham Steak with Pineapple
INGREDIENTS
2 large ham steaks, portioned
4 c cubed fresh pineapple
4 Tbsp real maple syrup
1 tsp curry powder
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp dark brown sugar
PREPARATION
Heat skillet over medium-high
Remove skillet from heat, spray with cooking spray.
Add ham. Cook 6-8 minutes, turning once, till brown on both sides.
Remove to plate.
In medium bowl, whisk curry with maple syrup, toss with pineapple.
In same skillet, melt butter over medium.
Add pineapple; cook 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender.
Add brown sugar; cook one minute until it melts.
Serve over ham slices.
