Stir-Fry Sauce
INGREDIENTS
1/2 c soy sauce
1/2 c beef broth
3 Tbsp barbecue sauce
2.5 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp honey
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp pepper
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 c cold water
2 Tbsp EVOO
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp ground ginger
PREPARATION
Combine soy sauce, broth, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, honey, vinegar, sesame oil and pepper. Set aside.
Mix cornstarch and water. Set aside.
Cook EVOO, garlic and ground ginger over medium until it starts to simmer.
Whisk in the soy sauce mixture and bring to a boil.
Slowly whisk in the cornstarch mixture.
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Allow the sauce to cool and store in the refrigerator.
