Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 oz cream cheese at room temperature
  • 4 Tbsp butter at room temperature
  • 1 Tbsp strawberry puree (~4 strawberries sieved)
  • 4.5 c confectioners sugar, sifted

PREPARATION

  1. Place the cream cheese and butter in a medium bowl and beat with electric mixer on medium-high until light and fluffy, about 1 minute.
  2. Add the puree on low, and slowly add the sugar,
  3. Once the sugar is added, beat on medium until smooth, 1-2 minutes.
  4. Chill for 30 minutes.
