sundries

my needle and thread
your tongue stitching cleverly
mending my spirit

my fine-toothed black comb
detangling my distresses
restoring order

my analgesic
easing my pain and sorrow
healing with kisses

my small bar of soap
washing away petty sins
cleansing my heart

my safety razor
scraping at hairy problems
smoothing them away

in short, my sundries
the little things that I need
but often forget
