Vernor's Roast Beef

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 lb beef roast
  • 1/2 c flour
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 envelope 1-c brown gravy mix
  • 2 c Vernor's ginger ale

PREPARATION

  1. Coat the roast with flour, reserving any that doesn't stick.
  2. Place roast in slow cooker.
  3. Combine remaining flour, soup mix and gravy mix in a bowl.
  4. Add ginger ale, mix well.
  5. Pour sauce over beef.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW 8-10 hours
  7. Serve over rice.
