Alfredo Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 c heavy cream
  • 1/2 c grated Parmesan
  • 1/4 c grated Pecorino Romano
  • a few grinds of pepper
  • a pinch of nutmeg.

PREPARATION

  1. Place butter, pepper and nutmeg in a saucepan.
  2. Melt the butter.
  3. Slowly add the cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Remove from heat and add the cheeses.
