Alfredo Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 8 cloves minced garlic (real garlic)
  • 2 c heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 c grated parmesan (not cardboard)
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION

  1. In skillet, saute garlic in butter for one minute.
  2. Pour in cream and stir.
  3. Sprinkle Parmesan in, one tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly.
  4. Add nutmeg, stir frequently.
  5. The sauce will take 10-15 minutes to thicken--do not boil.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
