Alfredo Sauce
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 8 cloves minced garlic (real garlic)
- 2 c heavy whipping cream
- 3/4 c grated parmesan (not cardboard)
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
- In skillet, saute garlic in butter for one minute.
- Pour in cream and stir.
- Sprinkle Parmesan in, one tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly.
- Add nutmeg, stir frequently.
- The sauce will take 10-15 minutes to thicken--do not boil.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
