Balsamic Pork Roast

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lb pork roast
  • salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 c chicken broth
  • 1/3 c balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp honey

PREPARATION

  1. Season the pork with salt, garlic powder and red pepper.
  2. Place in crock.
  3. Combine broth, vinegar and Worcestershire and pour over roast.
  4. Drizzle honey over roast.
  5. Cook on LOW for 7 hours.
  6. Remove pork and shred.
  7. Discard all but 1/2 c sauce.
  8. Combine pork and reserved sauce in crock and keep warm until ready to serve.
