Barbecue Chicken Soup

INGREDIENTS

• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 Tbsp chili powder
• 1 tsp curry powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp garlic
• 1 pint half-and-half
• 2 cups chopped cooked chicken
• 1 c barbecue sauce
• 2 cans black beans, rinsed and drained
• 2 cans tomato soup
• 1 can chicken broth
• sour cream (8 oz)

PREPARATION

1. Spray non-cook dutch oven with cooking spray.
2. Saute onion, chili powder, curry powder, salt and garlic for 4 minutes on medium-high or until soft.
3. Stir in half-and-half, chicken, barbecue sauce, beans, tomato soup and broth.
4. Bring to a boil, then simmer 6 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
5. serve with sour cream.
