Beef a la Mode
INGREDIENTS
- 2 lb roast, cut into serving pieces
- 1/2 lb bacon or salt pork, cut up
- 3 onions, chopped
- pepper to taste
- water
PREPARATION
- Place beef and pork in slow cooker
- Sprinkle onions over top
- Add pepper.
- Pour water alongside, about 1" deep.
- Cover, cook on LOW 6-8 hours
- Serve over mashed potatoes.
