Beer Brisket

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 brisket ~ 3 lbs
  • 2 large onions, halved, and sliced thickly
  • 1 12-oz bottle beer
  • 1/2 c chili sauce
  • 2 tsp steak seasoning
  • whole grain sandwich buns, split and toasted.

PREPARATION

  1. Place onions in bottom of slow cooker.
  2. Top with brisket.
  3. In medium bowl, stir beer, chili sauce, and steak seasoning to mix.
  4. Pour over brisket.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours
  6. Transfer brisket to cutting board, let rest 10 minutes.
  7. Shred or slice thinly.
  8. Serve with onions on buns.
