Cream of Bacon Mushroom Soup

INGREDIENTS

• 1 qt heavy cream
• 1 qt chicken broth
• 1 c shredded Parmesan cheese
• 3 8oz pkgs sliced mushrooms
• 1 c cooked bacon (crumbles or diced)
• 1 Tbsp dried parsley
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp pepper
• 1/2 tsp thyme
• 1/2 c red bell pepper, chopped
• 1 bunch green onions, chopped
• 2 Tbsp butter
• 4 cloves garlic, sliced

PREPARATION

1. Heat a small skillet and add butter. Cook garlic for about a minute.
2. Add all ingredients to crock pot.
3. Cook on Low for 5 hours.
